On ADHD and health data: Gaveki is a productivity application, not a medical device or healthcare provider. When users voluntarily describe their ADHD experience or enter information related to attention challenges, this is treated as general app content data — not as protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. However, we treat all sensitive user-provided content with the same high level of protection regardless of its nature.
Gaveki uses the following third-party services. We have selected each for their privacy practices and data security standards:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. We do not use advertising networks or behavioral advertising.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and employs industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Row Level Security (RLS) is enforced at the database level, meaning each user can only access their own data — even at the infrastructure level, your data is isolated from other users.

Despite our efforts, no security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

Gaveki is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. Gaveki is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Pro Tier (coming soon): Premium features including cross-device sync, advanced analytics, and additional features will be offered on a paid subscription basis. When available:

You agree to use Gaveki only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

The Service and its original content, features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, and underlying technology are and will remain the exclusive property of Gaveki and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Gaveki.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in or to the Service or its intellectual property, except for the limited license to use the Service as described herein.
The ADHD educational content in the Learn tab is curated from public research and cited appropriately. It is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within Gaveki, including tasks, routine items, reflections, and CBT notes ("User Content").
By using the Service, you grant Gaveki a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not use your User Content for any other purpose.

Gaveki is a productivity and focus management tool, not a medical device, clinical service, or healthcare provider. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a doctor-patient relationship.
The ADHD-related educational content, CBT reframing tools, and coaching messages provided in Gaveki are based on publicly available research and are intended for general informational and motivational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding ADHD, mental health, medication, or any other medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced within Gaveki.

Gaveki is not responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided within the Service. You assume full responsibility for your use of the Service and any outcomes that result.

By you: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@gaveki.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. We may also discontinue the Service in whole or part at any time.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@gaveki.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court. You waive any right to a jury trial and agree that arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis — not as a class action.
Exception: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
