Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Gaveki collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Gaveki is a focus app published by Affection Health Care LLC, a California limited liability company.

1. What we collect

If you use Gaveki without signing in

Your tasks, routines, mood selections, focus session history, and preferences are saved in your browser only (via localStorage). Nothing leaves your device. We do not see what you type. We do not have an account for you.

If you sign in

To sync your work across devices, we store the following on our servers (hosted by Supabase):

• Your email address and (optionally) display name
• Your tasks, routines, calendar events, and workspace structure
• Your Pro subscription status
• The custom coach personality text you write (if you set one)
• Authentication tokens to keep you signed in

If you upgrade to Pro

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe gives us a subscription ID and the last four digits of your card to display on your account page. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment portion of the flow: stripe.com/privacy.

If you use AI features (Plan my day, Voice coach, Break it down)

Your task text and mood selections are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which generates the plan or breakdown. Anthropic does not train models on this data per their API policy. We do not store the AI requests or responses on our servers beyond what is needed to show you the result.

If you use Body Doubling (Pro)

Body Doubling uses Daily.co for the video room. Your video and audio stream directly between participants — we do not record or store sessions. Your first name (or email prefix if no name is set) is shared with other people in the room so they know who you are. Daily.co's privacy policy applies: daily.co/privacy.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

Your email is added to our Mailchimp list. Mailchimp processes your email for the purpose of sending updates from us. You can unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Mailchimp's privacy policy applies: intuit.com/privacy/statement.

2. What we do not do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not show ads inside Gaveki.
• We do not share your data with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.
• We do not run third-party analytics scripts that profile you across the web.
• We do not read or analyze the content of your tasks beyond what is needed for AI features you choose to use.

3. Cookies and tracking

Gaveki uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible) to count page visits at the aggregate level — no individual user profiling.

4. Your rights

You can:

• Access the data we have about you — email hello@gaveki.com and we will send you a copy
• Delete your account and all server-stored data — email us and we will wipe it within 30 days
• Export your tasks and routines — open the app and use the export option in Settings
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any newsletter, or by emailing us
• Cancel Pro at any time from your Settings page; access continues to the end of your billing period

If you live in California (CCPA) or the EU / UK (GDPR), you have additional rights including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We treat all users with the same standard regardless of where you live.

5. Children

Gaveki is not designed for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data retention

If you have an account, we keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your server-stored data within 30 days. Backups may keep deleted data for up to 90 additional days before they roll off. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Server-stored data sits behind Supabase's row-level security and authenticated access. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever have a breach affecting you, we will notify you as soon as we know.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or with a notice on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent change.
