Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the Gaveki app.

Information you provide:

• Email address and password when you create an account
• Tasks, notes, and brain dump entries you type into the app
• Medication names, times, and reminder settings you configure
• Calendar events you create
• Mood and energy selections you make before AI planning
• Coach preferences and workspace settings

Information generated automatically:

• Streak and completion data — which days you completed tasks
• Focus session duration and timer usage
• App feature usage patterns to improve the product
• Device type and operating system for compatibility purposes

We do not collect location data, contact lists, camera access, or microphone data beyond voice input you explicitly initiate within the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Gaveki app and its features
• Sync your data across devices when you are signed in
• Send medication reminders, calendar alarms, and focus notifications you have configured
• Generate AI-powered daily plans and coaching responses using your task list and mood input
• Calculate your streak and weekly progress statistics
• Respond to your support requests and questions
• Send important service updates and security notices

We do not use your personal data to serve you advertisements. We do not build advertising profiles from your usage data.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in two places depending on your account status:

• Locally on your device — Task lists, settings, and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device unless you are signed in.
• Supabase cloud database — When you create an account, your data is synced to our secure cloud database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com), which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

AI coaching responses are processed through the Anthropic Claude API. Text you send to the AI coach is transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate a response and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store the full content of AI conversations on our servers.

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — We use Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payment processing, and Anthropic for AI features. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.
• Business transfers — If Gaveki LLC is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.
• With your consent — We will share your information in any other circumstances only with your explicit consent.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — You can update your account information directly in the app settings
• Deletion — You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at hello@gaveki.com
• Data portability — You can request an export of your data in a readable format
• Opt out of notifications — You can disable push notifications and reminders in your device settings or within the app at any time

Children's Privacy

Gaveki is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@gaveki.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Payments

Gaveki Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).

We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your Pro access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending you an email notification.

Your continued use of Gaveki after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
